My name is Yulianny De Los Santos (she/her/hers), a senior Physiology & Neurobiology (PNB) major and Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS) minor here at UConn. I am currently the vice president of B.A.I.L.E. (Bringing Awareness Into Latino Ethnicities), a student organization aimed at raising cultural awareness to campus students. I am the Chapter Accreditation and Expansion/Outreach chair for Sigma Lambda Upsilon/Señoritas Latinas Unidas Sorority, Incorporated. On campus I work at the Biology Advising Center and Student Employment Office. My past work experience at UConn has consisted of working as an undergraduate research/lab assistant for a microbiology lab in Torrey Life Sciences. I was also a Corps Member for Jumpstart, a Community Outreach program.
I have a passion for mentoring and inspiring those around me. I believe that together we can learn from each other and make a difference for one another. My goal is to attend medical school and devote my career to women's health and educating and shedding light on its importance to ALL women.
