The University of Connecticut Pre-Medical and Pre-Dental Advising Office values the opportunity to cultivate relationships with our alumni and create impactful and intentional engagement opportunities for our current pre-health students. By spotlighting alumni, holding alumni panels, and creating connections, we aim to support our students and alumni throughout their career journeys!
Our office is happy to support our pre-medical, -dental, -physician assistant/associate, -optometry, and -podiatry populations during their time as undergraduate students and applicants. Each year, our office supports over two hundred applicants to the health professions through a holistic applicant support process. To continually improve our advising approach and programming activities, we collect yearly matriculation data that allows us to see where all of our fantastic alumni have matriculated. We catch up with our alumni regularly through multiple different offerings like our Chat with Alumni series, our Interview Pairing Program, and our many alumni spotlights across this website.
Over the years, we have been proud to feed students to schools across the Tri-State Area, the Northeast, and the United States. Each application cycle, the University of Connecticut boasts around 100 MD matriculants; 30 DO matriculants; 30 Dental matriculants; 50 PA matriculants, and 10 Optometry matriculants.
