Advising Appointments

**Please note that our office supports current UConn degree‑seeking students and UConn alumni. Unfortunately, we are unable to support non‑degree students who are not currently completing a UConn degree or who have not previously earned one.**

Welcome, Class of 2030! Please see this "getting started" guide to begin your pre-health journey at UConn.

Steps to Follow

1. Join our Newsletter

Is this your first time meeting with someone from our office? Fill out this form to request to be added to our emailing list.

The Pre-Health Advising newsletter is our primary method of communicating information about pre-health professional opportunities, events, and resources both on campus and off campus to interested students.

We also encourage you to follow us on Instagram! Find us @uconn_premed_predental

2. Complete required pre-health advising modules in HuskyCT

All current (new and returning) students are required to complete the set of modules titled Foundations for Future Healthcare Professionals Required Modules in HuskyCT before they are able to schedule individual advising appointments.

Click here or log into HuskyCT and scroll down to the "Self-Enroll Courses and Organizations for Students" section to self-enroll in the Required Pre-Health Modules: From Foundations to Application to get started.

    3. Make a One-on-One Appointment

If you have met the criteria above and have specific questions you'd like to address, then we welcome you to request a one-on-one appointment with an advisor. To "meet" our advisors ahead of time, make sure to check out our advisor profiles. Both in-person and virtual appointments are available.

Current Students: Follow the instructions in "Step 2: Complete required pre-health advising modules" above to receive appointment booking access. Both new and returning students must complete the required modules in order to make individual advising appointments with an advisor. Once you have completed the modules and your self-reflection has been reviewed by a staff member (which may take several business days based on the volume of reflections we are receiving at that given time), you’ll be able to find the appointment booking link within the lower section of the HuskyCT site, PPA Resources, Advising Appointments, and Other Helpful Information.

UConn Alumni: Please email premed_predental@uconn.edu to receive a link to book an appointment. You do not need to complete the required "Foundations" modules**
