Dr. Keat Sanford presented with 2015 Tanaka Award for Innovative Undergraduate Advising

Dr. Keat Sanford was presented with the 2015 Tanaka Award for Innovative Undergraduate Advising at the Honors Medals Ceremony held on May 2.  Dr. Sanford has been with UConn for forty years, serving in various roles at the UConn Medical School including Director of Financial Assistance, Director of Admissions, and Assistant Dean for Medical Student Affairs and Admissions. In 2010, he assumed the role of Pre-medical/Pre-dental Specialist and advisor at Storrs to help undergraduate students in pursuit of health-related careers.
